Speakers emphasized the power of radio in rural advocacy, particularly in addressing climate-related disasters like flooding and desertification.
Reaching an estimated 3.5 million listeners across five African countries, the session encouraged eco-friendly practices such as tree planting and waste management. It also highlighted the importance of broadcasting in local languages like Hausa to enhance inclusivity. Listeners actively participated, with 10 live call-ins sharing concerns and insights on climate issues.
